It has been (a little over) two years since Riyad and I launched our website, Being Lazy and Slowing Down. While it may not mean much to many, two years of blogging means a lot to me in my reflection. Let us celebrate our blogging journey.
Most of all, our blog has been a source of connection because it allowed us to be in touch with people whom we may not have the opportunity with otherwise. Here I want to express my gratitudes for those who were involved in our blogging:
I first want to thank the readers, especially our subscribers and followers of our social-media pages!! Because I knew that I had them with me, I could keep going even on stormy days. They have always been my first readers in my head whom I think of when I write. Without them, I wouldn’t have been where I am now. Thank you for staying with me.
I also want to give special thanks to the friends who read my drafts and gave me feedback when I asked. Blogging sounds like lonely work. But, it actually requires good human relationships with readers and people around me.
I also want to acknowledge the contributions of our guest bloggers and interviewees. Their voices were so important that they filled the gap that I or Riyad could not fill and added different spices. The process of building a rapport with them while working on their posts together was one of the most fulfilling parts for me. They also gave me a sense of community.
Finally, below are the top 10 posts according to the number of pageviews for the past two years that the Google Analytics indicates (November 1, 2015 – November 1, 2017). I am aware that the numbers do not mean everything. But, I thought it may be an effective way to draw your attentions to our past blog posts that deserve your readership. If you have read some of them before, I hope they are good reminders. Here are the 10 posts:
