Dr. Beronda L. Montgomery is Professor of Biology and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean at Grinnell College. Her research focuses on understanding how individuals (mostly plants and photosynthetic bacteria in the research laboratory) perceive, respond to, and are impacted by the environments in which they exist. Beronda also pursues this research theme in the context of effective mentoring and leading in academic environments.
