Dana Kanhai lives in Michigan with her husband and twin four-year-old sons. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in the Higher, Adult & Lifelong Education program at Michigan State University. Prior to going back to grad school, Dana worked for over ten years providing psychological counseling to individual clients and also in human resource development in the corporate sector. Helping others achieve their goals and feel a sense of fulfillment and happiness through positive change has been the common thread throughout her life and work. Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she enjoys anything related to Caribbean food, music and culture.
